Papa Pounamu is our smallest development in this phase but, as our whakatauki for this development recognises “Ahakoa he iti, he pounamu.” This is in reference not just to the size of the site but its proximity to Ōtumaikuku, one of our large future development sites which sits directly across the road.
Papa Pounamu references the stream which runs through the neighbouring site and, as such, this site has been designed to reflect elements of our awa, our maunga and our ngahere. Natural materials and colour pallets have been selected to signify this connection.
